Grew up in Southern California in the 40s and 50s. Graduated from Escondido Union High School in 1959. Attended Los Angeles Pacific College.
Entered the life insurance profession in 1968 – initially with New York Life in Oakland, CA. Most of my career has been as an independent agent working with a number of companies. For five years I carried a Series 6 license. In 1976 I became dissatisfied with the stock market and its lack of certainty.
For many years I have been a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, for which I have served as an officer and as a moderator for the Life Underwriters Training Council. More recently, I have had articles published in InsuranceNewsNet Magazine. These articles are available on-line.
I have been answering questions regarding life insurance and retirement issues at www.allexperts.com since November 2002, and I have authored a report on these issues that is freely shared with those who request it by e-mailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
